I will overwhelm 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
